National Conference – Italian Federation for Handicap Overcoming(FISH)
Florence 12th – 14th December, 2003

On 12th December 2003 the National Conference of Italian Federation for Handicap Overcoming will open at the presence of Local and National Authorities. It will take place in the historic Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio, seat of Commune of Florence, in Piazza della Signoria.

The meeting will occur just a week after the official closing conference of the European Year of People with Disability organized by the European Union and the Italian Government. The FISH proposes to sum up what the Italian Government realized in this year and to promote projects for rights claiming in favour of people with disabilities and of the State itself.
This will be the theme of the meeting among Communes, Regions, Provinces and Government. The decisions taken during the Conference will be the starting point for the future activities.
The Conference will be also an occasion for all FISH Associations to meet together and to think about the results obtained in 2003 in favour of people with disabilities.
