Tax breaks for people with disabilities
The new “Guide to tax breaks for people with disabilities” is on-line. It is carried out by the Office for incomes. Its publication shows the main expenses and the conditions to obtain allowances, deductions and VAT rates. Here are some examples of tax breaks:
- Deduction from Irpef of € 774,69 for every child with disabilities apart from his/her family income
- 19% deduction from Irpef on the expense for cars and technical and computer aids, with a special VAT of 4%
- Exemption from tax on transfer on title and on road tax
- Extension for 2003 of tax exemption (36%) for the expenses for the interventions to demolish architectural features that deny access to people with disabilities
